Book Review: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” by J. K. Rowling | Spoiler-Free

Hello! So once again, I am lazy and do not feel like doing a spoiler review for such a complex story line like Harry Potter. Also, as a warning, this spoils books 1-6. If you haven’t read books 1-6 all the way through, do not read this review. It will spoil you like crazy. So goodbye, non-spoilery people!

The last installment of the Harry Potter series is the most dangerous. Harry Potter is taken to safety by the Order of the Phoenix while Lord Voldemort starts gaining more and more power and has every Death Eater hunting The Chosen One. It is Harry’s task to find and destroy every horcrux that Voldemort has created, thus weakening him and allowing Harry to finally face him on even ground. But with Dumbledore gone, Harry must face this task alone and when new truths come to light, he must decide which side he is truly on.

I am pretty proud of that actually. The one on Goodreads was awful.

My Thoughts:

I really liked the beginning of this book. And then it seemed to slow down, but then it picked right back up again. I really enjoyed the entire storyline, the character development throughout this story, and just everything that happened. It was action-packed, epic, and there was even a bit of romance mixed in. I definitely ship Hermione and Ron together. I, however, do not ship Harry and Ginny together. Something about that pairing just seems…wrong. Anyway, overall, this was definitely one of the best finales I have ever read. Loved it!

4.5/5 hearts

Love You All to Luna and Back,
