The Summer Biannual Bibliothon Tag

Hey, guys! Today is the first day of the Biannual Bibliothon, and to kick it off, the first blogging challenge is, of course, to do a book tag. This tag was originally created by the host of this challenge, the lovely Nana @ 4 Teen Liars, so you definitely should check out her original post. This tag is pretty self-explanatory. It’s just a bunch of questions about the readathon and summer in general. But let’s just go ahead and get into the tag!

1.) What are you planning to read for the Summer Biannual Bibliothon?

I am hoping to finish The Book Thief by Markus Zusak today, but for the entire readathon, I also hope to read Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, Definitions of Indefinable Things by Whitney Taylor and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling.

2.) What is your favorite genre to read in the summer?

I am always in the mood to read contemporary books in the summer. They just have that summer vibe, not to mention the fact that most contemporaries are set during the summer time.

3.) Where is your favorite place to read in the summer?

I usually just read on my bed, no matter what the season is. The outdoors and I are not a great mix…

4.) What is your favorite challenge done in the Summer Biannual Bibliothon?

I really love the throwback challenge because it is giving me the opportunity to start the reread of one of my favorite series, Harry Potter!

5.) What fictional character would you hang out with in the summer?

This is so hard, but probably Cath from Fangirl because we could stay inside and read together rather than actually go outside into the real world. It would be so much fun.

6.) What are your plans for the summer?

I don’t really have any other than to prepare for the upcoming semester in University.

7.) Do you have a summer playlist? If not, what would be on it?

I do have a personal one on my phone, and it has a lot of Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato on it, which should not be that surprising.

8.) What is your favorite summer movie?

I’m not really a summer movie kind of girl, but I am more likely to watch a Nicholas Sparks movie in the summer. I literally do not watch his movies any other time of the year.

9.) What book do you read every summer? If you don’t read a specific book, what do you do every summer?

Every single summer ever since I was like ten or eleven, I have reread the entire Vampire Diaries series by L. J. Smith, and I still love the story every time I read them. They are so good…

10.) What other book tags are you planning to do this summer?

Oh, gosh. I have no idea. I was going to do the Mid-Year Book Freak Out tag, but there really isn’t much to talk about since I have been in a reading slump since like March.

And there you have it! That was the Summer Biannual Bibliothon Book Tag. What is your favorite summer read? Sound off in the comments below! And that is going to be it for this post today. Thank you all so much for reading this, I hope you enjoyed it, and I will see you tomorrow with my next post!
