Favorite Movies | 2017 Edition

Hey, guys! I am super excited to talk about my favorite movies of 2017. I did not see a whole lot of movies, but I did enjoy the majority of the movies I did see. There were a lot of great movies coming out, but I just never got the chance to see all of them in between University and trying to keep up with my social life and my blog and just needing money, so I am super excited about the movies I did get to see. But let’s go ahead and get into it.

The first movie on the list is, of course, Wonder Woman.

This is my favorite movie of the entire year. It was just a fantastic movie. It was super well written, the acting was phenomenal, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is my new favorite thing. She just really brought this strong, female character to life. This movie just really empowered me. It made me feel like I could do anything. It was just so inspiring! Wonder Woman is the bisexual icon and the Feminist icon, so it was so amazing to see a powerful, strong woman kick ass without needing a man to help her. It just was an absolutely amazing movie, and I am so glad I got to see it!

The next one on this list is Power Rangers.

I absolutely loved this movie. It was such a pleasant surprise for me because I knew I would like it, but I didn’t know how much I would love this movie. I am still completely obsessed with this movie, even now. I loved the storyline, the characters, and just everything about it. It just brought me great joy, and I just absolutely freaking loved it. It really is about the power of friendship and I just really love this movie, and I highly recommend you check it out!

The next movie on this list is one that I was so excited to see, and it definitely did not disappoint, and that is Beauty and the Beast.

This is actually a movie I was forbidden to see by my parents because they said there was a gay scene it (I know; conservative people are super dumb sometimes), which was not even a gay scene. It was literally like a second long, and if you had blinked, you would have missed it. But anyway, the acting was great, I loved Emma’s singing voice. It was absolutely freaking hilarious, and I just really loved it! I highly recommend it because it was just absolutely fantastic.

And the last movie on this list is Everything, Everything.

This is an adaptation of Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, and it was such a good and faithful adaptation. The acting was on point, the characters were on point, the storyline was just as amazing on screen as it was in the book, and I just loved it so much. It is now one of my all-time favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and if you love this book, you will definitely love this movie. It was just super heartwarming and cute and amazing, and I just love this movie so much, and I highly recommend it!

And there you have it! Those were my favorite movies of 2017. What is your favorite movie you saw this year? Comment down below! I would love to know. And that is going to be it for this post today. Thank you all so much for reading this, I hope you enjoyed it, and I will see you next time!
